Lead and Heavy Metal Removal

Lead and other heavy metals are toxic to the human body and can cause damage to the brain, kidneys, nervous systems and is more harmful to children who absorb much higher percentages. Lead is typically not found in water sources unless there is intrusion from mining or other industrial work. Most lead intrusion comes from source lead pipes, service connections, lead solder, and brass fittings.

In cases where acidic water (low pH) is traveling through pipes, the lead and other metals will dissolve more rapidly into the water. In these cases, a pH Neutralizer is recommended prior to further improve remediation.
